The Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 is Fuji’s compact “pancake” lens. This minuscule optic gives you a 40mm full frame equivalent field of view on the APS-C sensor Fuji X bodies. I first became interested in this lens because I wanted to emulate the shooting experience of the X100 series on an interchangeable X-mount body.
I used one on my X-T1 with no problems. Used it between f8-f13 for landscapes but typically f11 or f13. Found it to be pretty sharp across the frame and would certainly recommend it for the secondhand price as a lightweight landscape lens.The Fujifilm XF 18mm F2 R is a very compact and light prime lens, weighing only 116g and measuring 3.3cms in length.
