Model: 2013 Skoda Octavia Elegance 1.4TSi DSG Steel Grey. Posted 8 July, 2015. I had an Octy II with 1.4TSi & DSG and it never gave me a moment's trouble. I now have the Octy III with same spec and again after almost 2 years no problems. It has the grunt to overtake without any hesitation and is a quiet engine.

Posted 4 July, 2020 (edited) For Petrol 1.2/1.4 Tsi, the workshop manual clearly states inspect at 240K km and every 30K km after. No replacement times/years listed. The waterpump is separate to the cambelt, at the other end of the engine, with a separate belt - same inspection interval.

Škoda Octavia. Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020) 1.4 TSI Startup Noise. Hi All, I thought I'd post here as my Leon uses the same engine as the Octavia's, the 1.4 TSI (150HP). It's a 2017 plate and we've had this awful noise at start up since we got it a few months ago. Looking around on the web it seems it may be quite common but I'm not sure
